You won't find complicated legal terms or long passages of unreadable text here. This explains what I collect, why, and where it's stored — in plain English, same as everything else on this site.
I value your privacy as much as my own, so I'm committed to keeping your information safe. I ask for only what I need to reply to you or do the work you've hired me for. I'll never use your information for anything other than why you gave it to me, and I'll never give anyone access to it unless the law requires it.
When you contact me through the form or by email, I hold your name, email address, and phone number if you've given it, along with the content of your message.
If you go on to hire me, I also hold whatever's needed to invoice you — your name, business name if applicable, and payment details through the payment processor. I never see or store your card details directly; those are handled by [Square / your payment processor — confirm which for this site].
I use your contact details to reply to your enquiry, and — if you hire me — to send invoices and keep you updated on the work. I don't send marketing emails or newsletters through this site. If that changes in future, you'll be asked to opt in, and can opt out at any time.
Philip O'Brien is responsible for the security of your information. You can get in touch about this at [privacy contact email — separate from or same as general contact] or through the contact page.
I'm one person. There's no team, no employees, no one else with access to what you send me — that's it.
If you've any reason to complain about how I handle your privacy, get in touch directly at [email] and I'll take it seriously.
If you're not satisfied with my response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
If this policy changes, the update takes effect as soon as it's published here.
